Is there a better version or both the same in effectiveness?

As is also the case with liquid vs. granular fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides, the liquid version normally is absorbed quicker but does not last as long as the granular version. Therefore, sometimes we use both to cover both short and long term simultaneously.
